cctv server
Is there any cheap units that can take an analog composite video
signal and
turn it into something that will go over Ethernet to a computer where dvr
software is running, and more importantly it is shown on the monitor in
somewhere around realtime?
I was hoping there was some cheap motionjpeg over Ethernet transport or
something, but all I seem to be able to find are fully featured camera
servers that have all the email on motion etc built into them. I would need
several. Cant use cables since the buildings are only linked by Ethernet
and
I don't want to go digging again.
