RE: [OT] External Hard Disk

I can second the Buffalo Drivestation. Bought one for my Mum recently
and a=
s Geoff said the Memeo backup software bundled is excellent.
Seems really solid and well built, looks smart too.=20

I recently bought a 500gb Buffalo Drivestation. It works pretty well and
comes with Memeo AutoBackup software which I quite like as it automatically
backs up files as they are modified.

The drive will auto power down on switching off the PC, or you can set a
timer for it to power down using the supplied software. It is very quiet as
it is a fanless design.

Mine cost around =A380, probably a bit cheaper now.
