RE: X10 List from PC

More information emerges. It's for a clients office, with lots of PCs
on
the network (would they need a filter?) and it's to turn on an LED light
box - camera lighting, a picture frame with LEDs inside and a filter.
This current works of a standard 3 pin plug, so obviously isn't drawing
too much power, but would this affect whether they have an appliance or
lamp module?

Thanks

Subject: X10 List from PC

A pal has just IM'd me asking about controlling a desk lamp from a PC.
So I said X10 is the simplest, but really don't know what's what in that
area. I'm presuming the X10 Computer Interface (probably USB),
appropriate software (unless the xpl/xapl stuff can do it for free -
he's a .Net developer so this wouldn't scare him) and an appliance
module.

Any advice?

Thanks

d
