is an 8 port relay card (relays rated at 250V 12A) - connects to parallel
port - -comes with free software.

no afilliation/experience etc.

googling PC controlled relays may turn up more.

there are probably other, cheaper methods, but if X10 noise is an issue,
this may work out cheaper (by the time you've bought a CM11, appliance
module and filters!)
