RE: Harmony software

Been a while since I got rid of my TiVo Pedro, but from what I recall
there's an option in TiVo to turn off the SCART control?... - I think
this should solve your problem. The SCART control signal from the TiVo
is what the TV sees & thus makes it auto-switch. If you turn off the
SCART control at the TiVo end, the TV doesn't see the switching signal,
thus doesn't auto-switch. Then your harmony remote can take care of
doing the TV input switching...

Subject: [ukha_d] Harmony software

Hi all,

I'm sure this is simple but the Harmony software doesn't make things
easy. Here is my problem:

I have a Harmony 895 trying to control a Tivo and TV. Whenever I switch
on the tivo the telly detects this and changes the channel to tivo. The
harmony software doesn't seem to take account of this and tries to
change an already changed channel, thereby unchanging it (if that makes
sense).

I'm sure there are others on this list with this combination of hardware
so how did you get round this "feature"?

Cheers,
Pedro
