I've used the Varilight transformers with CBUS no problem. They are
quite =
cheap from tlc-direct with the 250W one at around =A312+VAT.

Transformer performs from 0W (ie total lamp failure) to its maximum rating
=
and every stage between.
Short-circuit protected to insure against clumsy installation. Normal
servi=
ce is resumed when short circuit is removed.
Thermal and Overload protection. Both of these features are fully
reversibl=
e so as not to damage the transformer or any equipment on the circuit.
Not that you will need it with CBUS but they also have Soft start to
extend=
lamp life.

Hi

I see that the CBUS dimmers can control 12v lights if the transformer
suppo=
rts leading edge dimmers, anyone point me in the right direction for some
o=
f these? Most transformers say they are dimmable with resistive and
induct=
ive dimmers (ie screwfix), having trouble finding any that mention
"leading=
edge"

thanks in advance

Ade
