OK ... you prompted me to have a look at xPL ... 'have devoured your
monkey 'site ... have a few questions, please :

+ 'bit confused on the overall scheme of things ... if I understood
anything, it seems I need a main HA application (Homeseer, maybe, but
Idratek Cortex in our case, on a core PC) ... plus particular xPL
interface software for each (hardware) device that is to be utilised,
on any (networked) PC ... all running 24/7 ... plus an xPL hub, on
each (networked) PC ... and the various hubs will talk with each
other & with the main HA application, so that it can do its job ...
with all the devices ...

+ is there a list of devices somewhere that xPL will work with ?

+ ditto main HA aplications ?

maybe I ain't got it yet !
