Now we're talking :)  This is perfect exactly what I need! :)

This combined with a post I saw the other day about cutting a hole
like this in the floor and using a remote controlled car to take a
piece of string under the floor should do the job nicely :)

Can anyone tell me what I need to use the linked tools?!  One of them
says router and the other I wasn't certain?!

Anyone near Exeter got one that they would consider hiring/loaning or
saying that is it something that HSS or similar might hire?! bit
extreme for me to buy for just two holes!!
