CCTV or IP Cameras Options

Hi
Have only been in my new house for a few months so as yet dont have
much spare cash. So am looking for some advice on some budget CCTV or
IP Cameras for security.

I currently have a need for a front door outdoor camera (ideally
colour) and with night capabilities. This may be expanded to a camera
at the back later on.

What our your suggestions between / for the CCTV and IP cameras?
and which ones are good value for money?

Any help apprediated, as there is a lot out there!
