Low power FM transmitters / wireless audio controllers

Hi folks.. I am trying to source myself a low power FM transmitter for
sending my media PC audio to all the HIFIs in the house.

I know you can get iTrip and other ones, but I need a self (mains) powered
device that I can use - no batteries or USB powered things that just take
a stereo or RCA input.

Also has any the electronic buffs on here ever thought about developing a
bespoke controller device to run over wireless ethernet, or just plain
wired
ethernet or even just over CAT5 cabling itself without ethernet? I know
there
are commercial ones out there but the prices are rediculious at the moment.

Chris
