Oh.. BTW I should add that finding out what is causing this may not be
a
solution. As I think Ian mentioned the receivers in car alarms are very
basic designs usually and have very poor selectivity and strong signal
immunity. You may well find that the source of your problems is a
perfectly legitimate other signal ( likely to be ONOFF rather than
continuous in nature based on your observations) and that they won't be
able to do anything to help your problem . They probably will suggest a
'better' alarm system, even though it is the same two different cars.
Do the times of the problems indicate anything useful ? Have you ever
had problems in the wee hours of the mornings for example and does it
follow any working hours/weekend pattern.
