While searching for the zip locking variety a while ago, I found some
impressively cheap ones on (I think) the Farnell site, didn't have a
picture, turned out to be the black twisty ones of which you speak. Was
slightly annoyed at the time, but they're always handy to have.
Alternatively, got yourself a reel of thin insulated solid-core wire and
a set of wirecutters. More effort, customisable length :)
