I'm secretly looking forward to getting away from X10, especially
after my
recent problems with losing all X10 signals due to a faulty PSU on a
wireless access point..for 2 months.grrrrr...

If there's no limit on cost then I definately wouldn't use X10!

I'd go CBus if I was doing it again, and I'd move all the gear in my AV
system to to Node Zero rather than having it all in the room.
