well, it is getting better. At least, all signal get thru now. The
problem had been the USB connection to the CM11 together with heyu under
linux. I switch to the regular COM port and now everything looks good.

I didn't know about idratek, but have had a look at the EIB stuff. I am
sure there are places for those products, but for my needs they are
* not priced right
* need additional wiring

Quick side question: Do you know if you have to have a bus, or could use
a star topology for the idratek system? A friend of mine has CAT7 in
each and every room of his new house, wired to a central point in the
basement.
