Thanks... Am i able to just run the existing feed up to my loft then
and then join to a seperate coax cable
going to node0 without much insersion loss?

It needs to be done with care to ensure no water gets in. The sky
installers use sealed compression connectors I believe, and then [they
should, but don't always] wrap them in self-amalgamating tape to try and
ensure they stay dry.
