It certainly can be used with only a single sat feed - I had this last
night when I was re-wiring all the a/v cables in Node0 yesterday -
nightmare!
Can you buy the box without a 12 month sub though? When I got mine I had to
sign up for another year.
I just put my freesat card into my HD box and I could certainly view the
BBC HD channel channel (showing the previews). The other HD channels were
blocked of course.
So - looks like you can do it if you can get a box - well, with the freesat
card I have - don't know if there are different ones around now that might
get a different result???
