I use mine for SatNav too.  I have to say, there is some glare if something
bright is reflecting off of it, but as long as your car mount can be
adjusted so as not to reflect light from the windows, then it's fine. Check
out this page which has some videos at the bottom of how to apply it
properly and how to remove trapped dust if you have to:-
