Yup, it's not up to playing the MS files but I run it thru this (takes
about
a minute per half hour of recording) http://www.videoredo.com/ and then it
plays fine.
Also, the new (and excellent) WebGuide4 for MCE automatically re-encodes
all
my MCE recordings into lower bitrate WMV files which stream perfectly to
the
VIA box too.
