Fw: CAT5 embedded in screed - ok ?

I started all this In january - all planed up to a finish in july.

Had some guys into lay the floor and level the floor (their suggestion)
they cocked it up - dont want to know.

So now Im having to clear the whole of the downstairs again (with a
newborn baby - this should have been done before she was born) - and they
will kango up the floor.

Im then going to get in a company to stick a hose in the door and pour in
a 30mm screed from a mixer truck. Not by hand.

Whilst im at it i could bung some cables in - but anything that has
"air"
in it im thinking is a bad idea ! if not, i just wont do it.

What's the floor finish?

I can see your problem because a 20mm conduit will only leave 8 - 10mm
of screed over the top of it. However, if the floor finish is suitable,
it probably wouldn't matter too much.

What about going over the top and boxing the cables in a "riser"
somewhere?
