You're better getting some 20mm or 25mm proper flexible conduit and
then
running the Cat5e in that with a spare draw cable. ebay price =A328.75 for

It doesn't crush as easily as a hosepipe and you can guarantee you'll=20
want to
put something else (other than mains) down it in the future.......
If you don't want to bring it through the wall then make a swan neck with
the conduit and just bring the cable through - though you may want to use
external grade because of the UV deterioration of normal cable in sunlight.
Fortunately I had the luxury of already putting 4x110mm into the slab at
th=
e
house and 'shed' ends for all the services between so don't go through the
walls. There's 4 x Cat5e, 16mm armoured, 4mm armoured and 6 x 12 core
screened between the buildings! (The boiler is in the 'shed')
