Standard Cat5 used Externally

I need to run CAT5 to my shed for a year or so to put some HDs and an
NSLU2 there.

The route will be semi-sheltered, mostly 6-12 in above ground, suspended
from stakes that will also be carrying mains armoured cable, possibly
tied to the mains cable for additional support. I may wrap both cables
in yellow/black "crime scene style" tape for visibility. Due to
trees
and fences I can't dig 18in down.

My other external cat five runs down to the lounge from the loft is in
sealed brown mini trunking.

I'm not sure it is worth getting a drum of external grade CAT5 when all
I'll want is 25-30m worth. I haven't seen anyone that sells it by the
metre and if they did I would expect it to be very expensive.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Simon
