Not likely - personal experience of these little beasties says the have a
range of about 500sq metres at best and your neighbour would have to be on
the same electrical phase as you. Also, they have 56 Bit DES encryption
built in with a user settable key which whilst not brilliant is probably
good enough for domestic use...
