Hi,

Apologies for the off topic posting, but, as the age old saying goes, im
sure someone on this list may be able to help!

The carbon fibre forks on my mountain bike have become a little scratched
over the years, I spoke with pace (the manufacturer) and they want 140 to
replace both carbon tubes - a little too expensive for me at the moment
(well, a lot expensive for me at the moment!)

I spoke with a chap on another forum (mbuk) and he said that I could use
wet
& dry, then use a resin to polish them. The wet & dry bit im happy
with
(they are only surface scratches) but I'm getting really stuck when it
comes
to the polishing/resin bit.

I wonder if any of you lot maybe able to advise? Do you think I'd be able
to
use a standard plastic style resin polish (using a cotton mop?)

Regards & TIA,

Jonathan
