RE: XBox problems

Not sure what chip you have, but on the ones I've used (xenium) you
can turn
the xbox on by pressing eject - which brings you into the chip bios
settings
- perhaps he could've played around in there?

If you know which make of chip you've got, have a read of the manual as it
maybe something simple to resolve.

You have checked that he hasn't changed any switches on the modchip? The
ones I've seen allow the modchip to be disabled or to change which BIOS is
loaded using external switches.
