Split Unit Air-Con

We are in the final stages of designing a new Office as part of a
garage conversion.

I am toying with the idea of fitting a split unit air-con system.

So does anyone have experience of this sort of unit. It will need to
do both cooling and heating.

Finally, anyone know of any good suppliers suitable for a residential
install?
