I can heartily recommend www.global-cooling.co.uk
I asked Simon lots and lots of questions, and he didn't even get bored
of me ;) Very helpful guy. Oh, if you want to mention my name please
feel free as I said I'd happily recommend him - and he did mention a
referral fee too :)
Just bought a 9,000 BTU inverter unit from them for a shade over 500
quid. Comes with 4m of *copper* refrigerant lines, the outdoor unit is
pre-charged and you can shorten the lines if you need to (they can hire
you a vacuum pump, cutters & flaring tool which is recommended anyway).
The model I have has an ioniser and can bring in fresh air from outside.
I have run all the pipework & cabling into the cavity wall of my
conservatory - pics are available once I find somewhere to put them -
and will be putting the rest together over the next 3-4 weeks (need to
get the roof done before the indoor unit can be fitted).
And yes, I will be providing a review/writeup for Automated Home :)
