I don't know what the USB graphics devices are like from personal
experience....anyone? I have however heard that they are poor?

One answer would be MaxiVista - but you would need a second PC....it is
kind
of like a VNC desktop sharing type thing - basically it maps the second
monitor screen memory on the 'master. to a virtual screen on the second PC
with the comms working across the network. If both machines are on the same
switch it is good. I tried it and was amazed how well it worked!

I guess it really works best for people with a desktop and a laptop.
