Keith,

This is how it's currently wired.

The cable from the BT pole outside goes to small junction box under
my eaves then a single cable comes from that to a junction box above
the inside of my front door.

I have two lines and six sockets (only one socket on the second
line).

The BT cable is connected to my interior junction box as follows:

BT (Black) - Blue (Line 1)
BT (Green) - White (Line 1)
BT (White) - Blue (Line 2)
BT (Orange) - White (Line 2)

There are spare wires from the BT cable which have been cut back.

I wouldn't pay too much attention to the colours used inside the
house as I did this using Cat 5 cable a while back.

If I remember rightly there is a hidden socket under the floorboards
when we did some extension work over a year ago.

Should I run a new cable?

Cheers
Darren
