Are you likely to be exceeding the maximum cable distance via
structured
wiring vs length of supplied cables ?

I've got a Huger one, and you can extend it a bit over the supplied cable
length but not much. The sensors don't have particularly strong drivers and
I don't think they are differential.

If it's just bog standard Maxim OneWire based sensors, then I'm sure
some-one will chip in ...
