My favoured method is to flash the onboard TSOP - no hassles with big
disks
etc (I have a 250Gb Samsung spinpoint in mine). There's a little soldering,
but it's easy enough.



I did a couple at the last UKHA meet, nice and simple using the 007 AUF
method.



You can't switch it off to use it with Live, but that's not a problem for
me
- I use my Xbox for XBMC only.

(you probably don't want to hear this but) have you thought of doing a
softmod instead? I have two boxes done this way with no opening of
cases, screwing or soldering.
