Using discrete IRs with X10 IR7243W

Hi,

I bought the combined IR and RF X10 receiver from letsautomate, but
have not been able to successfully send any discrete IR codes to it.
(See http://www.letsautomate.com/10863.cfm?
CFID=157731&CFTOKEN=881D9CC6-EB12-498A-AAA55D034D48C51B)

I have a Logitech Harmony remote, and find it a pain to press the
device number, followed by On or Off. I have tried one set which were
listed on remotecentral (which the receiver unit acknowledges with
it's LED) but lights do not react to it.

Has anybody successfully managed to get this receiver to accept
discrete codes to send the device number and On/Off in a single IR
command ?

Any relevent Hex codes etc.. would be much appreciated.

Thanks
