[OT] PC to TV..streaming, anyone succeeded .. how have you achieved this?

Hi,

there must be many users on here who actually do this, I have been
googling on the subject, and has taken me in many different directions.

I want to stream divx vidx mpeg4 mp3 etc. if possible get the PC to do
all the work, then just stream in to tv via some sort of adaptor?

I am seeking your real-world solutions on how you have achieved
