Paul,

Not up to date with the import rates but one thing to watch out for is that
recording devices attract a different rate to amps etc. So a CAV6.6 would
b=
e
at one rate but the SMS3 Media Server might be at a different (higher)
rate=
.

As a Russound dealer we shift a lot of their equipment and every box comes
with a big red sticker stating their policy on equipment not sourced
throug=
h
the dealer network. Basically neither they nor any of their
Distributors/Dealers will touch it with a barge pole for warranty or
repair=
.

This probably isn=92t a problem if you are buying from a reputable source
a=
nd
are happy to take the risk for an admittedly significant saving but just
thought I would make you aware.

Anyone know what the import duty rate would be on a Russound amplifier
(CAV6.6)? Are there several categories that this could fit into?

Thanks,

Paul.
