Looking at a special rubber sheet that goes under the wooden floor to
prevent impact noise (walking) and a layer of sound and fire insulation in
the actual floor voids - this bit is needed by building regs anyway
apparently.

The kit in Node0 will be pretty quiet anyway. My current kit (server with 4
HDD's, Geovision CCTV PC, sky boxes etc) is reasonably noisy but it's not a
problem downstairs or in the master bedroom next door (with bed directly
against the other side of the Node0 wall). So hopefully won't be a problem
with this extra insulation as well.
