Thanks Nigel,

I had thought about some of that - others still to think about:

No prices yet but glass will be expensive as it's all fire rated glass!
Tot=
al budget for this project is pretty high!

Cable routes to hopefully come up under the cabinets - maybe with option
of=
closing it off if I sell in the future and the room is needed as very smal=
l single room (bed will fit in there - for a triangular shaped person!)

Some kit will be wall mounted I think - if I decide to re-locate
HomeVision=
kit. I'll probably keep Comfort where it is though on wall of current Node=
0. Maybe allow some extra cable runs for future connectivity between
Comfor=
t and HomeVision.

Ventilation - had planned on forced air cooling into room from under eaves
=
using an in-line fan (quiet sort), expelling further down eaves so as to
no=
t suck in hotter air. Of course, hot days will be a problem but all CPU's
w=
ill be newer Intel Core 2 Duo, so won't generate too much. Still not sure
a=
bout this - don't want to put expensive air con in there!

Not sure about lighting - will be in keeping with the rest of the loft
whic=
h will have a full lighting design done (maybe using my RGB LED
controllers=
and nice sparkly lights!)

Didn't think about server rack pull-out! Was thinking about access behind
=
(which I don't currently have). I'm limited though as the plan is to have
a=
s big an office as possible and this sets the stair location and hence
Node=
0 size) - so I have to work with what I've got.

Can you fit 4U server racks in data cabinets? Might give me more room.

Fire detection will be additional sensors into existing Comfort - anything
=
else recommended in Node0?

Thanks,

Paul.
