Paul,

Looks like an interesting project... Have you got a price for the glass
par=
tition yet ???

Looks like you have allowed for both of the (19"?) racks to be the
deep, se=
rver, type. Have you left enough room in front of the cabinets to allow
you=
to extract a full depth server case? Can't see how much you have left to g=
et round the back either?

What do you intend to do about cable routes, will you have any equipment
wa=
ll mounted?

Some ventilation through the roof may be useful so you get 'free' cooling
d=
uring the cooler months?

How will you set out the task lighting for working in the racks, strip
ligh=
ts fixed to the ceiling front and back?

Storage for 'spares' and power sockets for soldering iron, temporary
instal=
lations.

A fire safe for all your back-ups and installation disks?

Fire detection and protection?

HTH

Nigel

Just thought I=92d share some early mockups of the new Node0 in my planned
=
loft conversion (for an office). Always good to get feedback and prompts
fo=
r things I=92ve not yet thought off!
