Andrew,
Unfortunately, being HD ready doesn't mean it can display a HD picture. If
the panel is 480V it will just downscale a HD signal.
Xbox 360 doesn't support HDMI.
Google the Philips product code and find the screen resolution.
On the plasma's input panel is there a VGA input? You can't use a standard
VGA lead with the 360 - you need a special 360 VGA cable as mentioned
before. With the 360 you select the output you require - 480, 720 or 1080
(but won't be 1080 - not many 1080 plasmas about yet - although Pioneer do
a
very nice 50")
