Well, I lobbied hard to get them to support xPL, but when I came to
use it I found it "inside out" to how I was thinking of using it.
To
be fair, I think they were working on the lines that anyone using xPL
was an enthusiast who would want to do the logic outside of Cortex.
And doing it the other way round may well have been a significantly
harder programming task to add it to Cortex, so I won't complain too
much, since at least I've got some xPL integration opportunity, rather
than none !

It doesn't make it useless by any means, you can use all of the
Idratek objects and status in your xPLHAL logic.
