Yes once you get after the utility meter you can do what you want,=20
although must be installed to regulations

I use the 5196B from Energy Controls, I have split my supplies between=20
upstairs, downstairs and the 'office' and have metering on each.=20
Actually when the electricity company replaced their ageing dial meter=20
just this year they installed teh same meter (but without the pulsed=20
output feature). The 5196B is available in both standard versions ,=20
although I opted for a slightly greater sensitivity on pulses - 10 times=20
as many.

I have some DIN rail ones too - the DRM100's - they a single width and=20
a bit cheaper - but their max load capacity is 25A so you may have to=20
reduce the fusing in ring mains for example which typically have 32A=20
breakers. If they are leakage breakers then they are a not =20
insignificant cost to replace.

Yep - just as you wish and the DIN rail mounted ones make this quite=20
easy to retrofit - (although they require a live and neutral feed).
