RE: CBus xAP Plugin ?

Actually, yes, now I think on, I knew that, - but the problem for me
was learning the changes that I need to make to the current plugin code to
make it compliant... - it sort of half works without any modifcation, so I
suspect the changes shouldn't be that radical... I'm aware that a number of
Homeseer API calls are different... Plus the plugin currently uses VB
forms, and I would have absolutely no idea where to even think about
starting to change them to web forms...

I downloaded the HS2 SDK and the source VS.NET project examples provided
are different file formats to Visual Studio 6. - can't remember exactly
what, but they weren't the .VBP and .VBW files etc. that VS6 recognised...
- I therefore couldn't even open the example code to look at the structure
& start learning....

plan to set just this up over the Easter break...

since this is also what's holding me back from upgrading Homeseer as well,
but I've had no luck so far trying to get a (preferably legit!) copy of
VB.NET that I can use to learn the new development environment on...
(haven't given up yet though...)

I don't believe you need .VB.net for a HS2 plugin although I understand
there are some advantages.. The xAP plugin is still written in VB6 but
it has been rewritten to be HS2 compatible.
