Am I right in thinking that this device reads IR inputs, and sends the
commands out of a serial port along with the zone they were received in?  I
assume the same is true in reverse, also (serial command in with zone
information sends command from specified zone transmitter)?  That's one
part of the puzzle sorted.  I suppose then all I need is a matrix switcher,
KAT5 modules, and some smarts to control it.  I'm guessing the latter will
be the tricky bit.
