I cancelled my tivo subscription last week (a month or so after my tivo
actually died and I replaced it with a mythtv box).
it really was a very sad moment! sounds crazy I know, but the tivo was
the best piece of IT equipment I've ever bought and it really was sad to
finally end the relationship.
I had to stop myself from explaining all this to the guy on the phone
when he asked why I was canceling!
apart from one or two issues, mythtv is pretty good, but I'm quite
tempted to get sky+ now. the tenner I am saving from tivo would pay for
the multiroom, so basically for 49 quid I get a second pvr (a more
wife-friendly one), and I could keep the original sky box going on
mythtv...
somebody stop me!
