If you are going to visit more than a three or so attractions get a City
Pass.
http://citypass.com/city/ny.html
And don't forget to take a trip on the River trip!
The helicopter is much more expensive and a much shorter trip
It leaves from the pier next to the Aircraft carrier on the East side!
The Food is great, fresh, cheap and there's plenty of it
We've been just once and can't wait to go again
Oh, and don't miss walking in Central Park, (the southern end is better)

I know there are many seasoned travellers here....
We're going to New York on Friday for a long weekend - I've never been
further than the Channel Islands before.
I think I've got my head round e-tickets to get me on the plane :)
I was after any advice people might have to make it an enjoyable time -
stupid things I've thought about are - can you use ATM's over there with a
barclays connect card ? - are there any sorts of Taxi's we should get
from/to the Airport so we're not ripped of like tourists (which we are),
and
any tips for jet lag coming back ?
I cant believe that at 39 I'm actually getting nervous about going on
holiday - not worried about flying, but everthing else is a bit new to me
:)
Sorry for the OT post Mark.
Thanks
Dean.
