Do I have to pay sky extra for SKY+ recording feature ?

Dear All,

I was just about to refer someone to sky so that I can get a free SKY+
upgrade. However from what I can tell I will need to pay another £10 to use
the recording feature ! I could understand if I want to record 2 different
chanels, but I don't.

Is this correct, does anyone here pay the min subscription of £15/17 and
have the recording feature ?

Otherwise for the sake of an extra £120/year I'll be better off with MCE
and
doing my own recording
