Ah, Java. Haven't touched that since my university days :)

For me, what ever solution is realised, it has to be multi-platform. I want
to run Linux on my node 0 server which immediately ruled out using the
xAPFramework stuff as it's .net (C#). I could probably fight with mono but
that not exactly what I want at the moment unless someone can say they've
used it on Linux and it was easy :)
