Visonic Powermax Plus

X10/Broadband/CCTV/GSM/SMS etc. etc. - should pretty much ticks all the
boxes (or will when it comes out of Beta next week)

Wont do PC programming though.... - not sure many will without 'installers'
software

Subject: [ukha_d] House alarm that has basic HA intelligence

Any suggestions please.

Would like features of a normal house alarm plus:
Ability to program from PC - ideally browser.
Ability to remote notify - ideally direct to mobile and/or possibly via
call

centre.
Relay close type output when set (to setback heating etc)
Ideally not wireless because the wires are in place and I reckon wired will
be more reliable (and less batteries)

Closest to what I've seen so far is the BT VP1000 but it doesn't quite tick
all the boxes. Any other product suggestions ? Or anyone know how
customisable the VP1000 is ?

David C
