Hi all,
Someone, who shall not be named for legal reasons (Stuart!), recommended a
Linksys WAP11 as a cheap alternative to a wireless bridge/gaming adapter
like the WET11, etc. After a night of messing around of trying to get it
to
work, I have now discovered it is incompatible with my Cisco Access Point.
According to Linksys support it can only be used as a Access Point Client
when the Access Point it connects to is also a Linksys WAP11. Pretty
useless/crap if you ask me.
So if anyone is looking for a WAP11, make me an offer. Alternatively, if
someone has one and fancies a swap for a Cisco AP340 (802.11b) Access
Point,
then get in touch too :)
