I have to say I wasn't very impressed with the TV out from my Radeon 9xxx
card... I admit I didn't spend too much time playing with this as I'd hoped
that...
a) I could sneak past the guardian of spending a HD LCD - nope :-(
b) Wait until the xbox 360 came out and buy an original XBox (cheap !) and
mod it to be the front end for the main PC.
I've bought a nebula electronics TV card and this has the ability to stream
TV or (I think.. but not tried) the recorded PVR TV across the LAN .. so
I'm
really not sure as to what I should do next.
If you do get a good solution for CRT TV with scart etc. I'd be interested
in following
Davey.
PS. - Dave C ... look out for something in the snail post over the next
