Yup - agreed, I do already take VGA (at 1820 x 1024) into my CRT projector
and I take DVI (at 1368 x 768) into the 32" LCD I have in the living
room
however around the rest of the house I have "normal" TVs and have
no
intention of changing them for LCDs when there is no real reason to do so.

Hence the requirement for finding a good s-video feed from a PC.
