LD11 without load to trigger X10 events?

Is it possible/safe to use a LD11 with a momentary switch to trigger
other X10 events? The scenario is I want to have 4 separate lighting
circuits each on it's own LD11, but I also want a sort of master switch
to control them all in one go. So you can click the master switch to
trigger an all lights on or click individual switches to control the
separate circuits. Is there a better way to do this?
